Google redefines legalese :)

Google: f*k you and the blog you rode on, doll

Okay, one catches more flies with honey than with vinegar. Let's have some fun. In Google, orkut, Blogger or Blogspot's book these are the new definitions, something akin to Bill Maher's New Rules:

TOS-- TOS doesn't mean terms of service. It means Take On Servants

TOU-- TOU doesn't mean terms of use. It means To Own Users

User -- A sucker who believes in our judicial system and in TOS, but oops! See new TOS above.

Service -- Whatever, oh, well Nevermind and shove it; it's free, innit?

Violation-- Anything and nothing happens. A guy plants javascript into the system re-routing everybody against their will for twelve hours, and nothing happens. This is a clear violation of TOS, but, oh, well, TOS, read above.

Civil Rights Act -- What counts is Article 230, your civil rights were signed off at the gate.

Bottom Line -- We work for Google. Be nice and stay beautiful. Stock hit 300 bucks, I hear. And bottom line here means bottom line strictu sensu. Honey, your bottom is Google's.

Off-topic: I read Steve Jobs is doing well. Very relieved.
