Carefree and a Target in Cyberspace

900 million for a share of MySpace? That'a peanuts!

The hardest part of this cautionary tale is for me to admit I was had. A bright person with a truckload of degrees, I fell in a Son of a Preacher Man's trap. Was it vanity, kindness or generosity? Was it the need to show I could master a new medium?

I have been absent from my Anarchy Across the Universe because of a campaign conducted by a filthy young man. He controls about 500 kids in two environments: orkut, Google's relationship site, to be closed soon due to Google's lack of control of and cooperation with the Ministery of Justice of Brazil. Just last week a young man was convicted for having harassed a Brazilian of African descent on orkut: five years.

I must thank InvisionFree for sticking to the letter of our laws. And ImageShack, I forget the name of other services that heeded me.

This punk strictu sensu got so bold after running his hate campaign against me, he had his kids harass some Christians in orkut, and Sunday night planted a piece of Javascript in orkut, redirectioning orkut's traffic to his blog, "because he wanted to help these people become aware of how frail the system was.".

And good luck to you guys in MySpace, now part of Google. Google, well, excellent to search, almost impossible to find when you need it.

If opening a blog, don't post your pictures, don't give out information. Use a nick. Blogger and BlogSpot will defend you only if you have a lawyer. I have one, from my alma mater. We'll see. It'll be over when it's over, or maybe when the fat lady sings?

Brazil? It's all banana trees, who cares? Not David Drummond
