The Supremes and Gitmo

Fresh off the press, from a NY Times alert, this news from AP. What it says is Mr. Bush, listen up, the Supremes, this time as before, do believe in our laws and the International Geneva Convention. John Paul Stevens wrote the decision, a 5 to 4, Mr. Roberts was karaoking the song the Beatles wrote for him. Just kidding. He couldn't express himself. He had given his opinion on a similar case before becoming part of the Supremes.

The Supremes, whose liberal block now was joined by Anthony Kennedy, had ruled in yet another loss for Mr. Bush two years ago. They ruled then the Gitmo prisioners coldn't be held for who knows how long without a trial or access to lawyers.

This time the ruling says the prisioners at Gitmo are not of the kind who would be subjected to military war trials. The ruling this time was based on individual cases. The folks at the White Elephant, I mean, the Wit House, fudge, you know what I mean. The spokesman for Mr. Bush and etcoetera will make a stateman later on today.

Hot off the press, AP, NY Times, thank you! Now back to Andrew Card and Elvis Costello. Nah! Tell Susan Sarandon I can't make it for lunch today.

Now that everybody is talking about it, I read that Breyer had the nerve to side with Mr. Prez, who looks like he ate crow while blinking in fornt of headlights on the covr of the Lost Angeles Times.. The headlights belonged to the upper torso anatomy of Miss Liberty, beacons of light, haven't I heard this somewhere before? :P

Where did my comment go? I am happy about this recent ruling. If you are not happy about it, my friend, go to Blogger.com and create your own blog to proselityze about our war on terrorism, congressional approval, all the good stuff I know about. Unlike you, I read.
