I wish I hadn't gotten into a tech-mess while adding the lasts touches on a post yesterday. In the end, I didn't post in Anarchy Across the Universe. Will I make things worse if I mention the World Cup?

Brazilian futebol players are known for the silly things that come out of their mouths. Things such as, "I went and I went and I went and I ended up wenting." Or "I am the solutionics for the problemonics." Lastly, a player when interviewed by one of those silly commentators, analyzes the match, "We were at the edge of the cliff. With the Lord's help, we were able to step ahead."

The whole world knows how many Americans never saw a war they didn't like. What the whole world didn't know, and I didn't either, was that the foot-in-the-mouth syndrome wasn't a Made in Brazil® characteristic, with no exports.

I love my personalized Google page. I get silly news, wiki how-to ideas, serious news, all custom-tailored to my taste. So today I read in detail in the Sports Illustrated site, www.si.com about Eddie Johnson, a forward in the US team, and what he had to say about ... not about some very inexpressive team, no, leave that to other US attacks, like the nutmeg war, remember, in the Great Communicator days?

His comments targeted three-times champion Italy, whose team the US plays on Saturday:

"It's like us in the World Cup. We're here for a war," says Eddie, comparing the Us match against Italy to the war waged by US troops in Iraq.

"We came her to battle, we came here to represent our country," concludes he.

The Italians aren't pleased. We see how pleased the Iraqis have been. If Eddie Johnson were my child, I would ubmit him to a cure for his disease. He would have to watch all the Vietnam war movies made, Coppola's masterpiece, all of them scary Vietnam movies and Johnnie's Got His Gun to top it.

If watching anti-war movies didn't calm this chile down, i guess I would have to ship him out to join our brethen spreading democracy abroad.

Yesterday I was speaking with an old friend of mine, whose common sense is just remarkable. He and I were commenting on Ronaldo, the heavier one, and his poor performances for the National Team. Ronaldo could have the chance to equal Pelé's record of participation in three World Cups. However, Ronaldo is always getting ill. Nobody has examined the guy from a psychological point of view! My friend's comment was so enlightening. Now I feel somewhat sorry for the guy. He's not chiken-shit. He has a psychological problem.

Talking about democracy abroad, how about democracy within? I just read about the very recent Supreme Court decision, another 5 x 4, declaring it's okay for the police not to knock and wait and just come into an individual's home provided the police have a warrant.

Two comments, and then I gotta go.

First comment: Don't you hate to side with the 4 of the 5 x 4 opinion? Especially because this is a situation you've endured since Florida 2000?

Second comment: The story of Little Red Riding Hood must change now. She a suspect of tasting good and the Big Bad Wolf simply says:

"Open this door, Little Red Riding Hood! As of today this is my constitutional right. I'm not huffing or puffing, I'll just blow your door down!

Enjoy your day, and thanks for following the stories in Anarchy Across the Universe
